iPhone game that gives bicycles to children in Africa

The Global Gaming Initiative has a different approach to advertising its game: by playing a game on iPhone , you provide metaphorical media to the population of Africa.

Sidekick Cycle

The Global Gaming Initiative , with its first game, Sidekick Cycle, provides people in impoverished areas of Africa with bicycles, through a partnership with World Bicycle Relief.

The game Sidekick Cycle, released last week on iTunes, is directly related to bicycles, since it is a racing game with bicycles on very difficult terrain. Half of the proceeds from the game will be allocated to the purchase of bicycles. So for every time 387 games are sold, one bicycle will go to a child in Africa. The game keeps statistics and informs players with the exact number of bicycles that have left for Africa.

It costs $1.29.
