An investigation by the Internet Watch Foundation has revealed that Amazon's web hosting service is popular for distributing images of minors by pedophiles.
The IWF says that Amazon is a company that is involved in rampant criminal activity. They discovered around 372 illegal child sexual abuse images that were on servers 's Amazon for distribution in the first half of 2013.

Thus, the IWF accuses the company of providing servers to third parties, who then host websites containing illegal content.
Sarah Smith, a researcher at the IWF, says her organization has made huge efforts to curb the growing event.
The Amazon example shows how even someone who is not looking for child sexual abuse images can stumble upon them.
The Internet Watch Foundation 's supporters of the anti-pedophile movement include Google, Bing, PayPal and Virgin . They have also reached out to other companies – including Facebook, Samsung and Apple – to join the fight against obscene criminal activity.
