Today, Chinese media outlets began publishing a new invitation with a different date. Apple will hold a special event in Beijing on September 11th , and it is reportedly the first time Apple has held a special event in the country.
Apple 's move to create a cheap iPhone and launch it in China, currently the world's largest smartphone market , is a smart move. It's one the company needs, as its sales in China fell in the second quarter of this year, falling to seventh place, according to research firm Canalys.
