Hotspot Shield released a very interesting infographic to answer some important questions regarding hackers and their activities.
The infographic shows how hackers find their victims, and how they “catch” them. Additionally, it also provides some useful tips on how you can better protect yourself.
For example, did you know that 98% of stolen cards are used for illegal transactions? What about the fact that last year there were 12.6 million theft victims?
To search for their victims, malicious users often use social networks, malicious websites, Wi‑Fi hotspots, or even Wi‑Fi from homes, as many times they are unlocked or locked incorrectly.
