Apple CEO Tim Cook has long hinted that their new products will be unveiled this fall. Today we have a date: September 10th.
The date has been rumored for a while now, but today AllThingsD confirmed that Apple will unveil its next iPhone – which will likely be called the iPhone 5S – on this date. We've also published several reports that the company will announce a lower-cost iPhone that will be surrounded by a colorful polycarbonate shell instead of aluminum.
AllThingsD reports that Apple will not announce the next OS for desktop at the event – if it will arrive soon – nor any smart watch or TV product.
The new iPhone will run iOS 7, which was announced at Apple's last developer conference in June.
As for the new smartphone features, they are all speculation for now. Many are expecting a better camera and a more powerful processor.
