Test results from the Geekbench 2 benchmarking tool reveal that Apple is preparing a new MacBook Pro series.
In addition to the new Mac Pro that the company officially confirmed at WWDC 2013, Apple this year seems determined to upgrade its Pro line of laptops.
The confirmation comes from the Geekbench 2 database, a popular benchmarking tool for computers.
A new Geekbench benchmark result that leaked today shows a next-generation MacBook Pro with the codename “AAPLJ45.”
It's no surprise that the system is running OSX 10.9 Mavericks at the time of the benchmark, but its performance is certainly a surprise.
The computer uses Intel's latest Haswell and boasts 16GB of RAM . It scored 12497 on Geekbench.
