We all know by now that the cheap iPhone that Apple is rumored to be preparing will be made of plastic and will look like an iPod touch from the back and an iPhone 5 from the front, while it is very likely to come in various colors.
Today, a new report from Macotakara says that Apple has begun testing the device on the production line.
Apple is experimenting with a number of colors, according to the site. Navy, gold, gray, pink, green, blue, yellow, and orange are some of the colors in the works. It also says there is no black color yet.
Macotakra says that around 1,000 pieces have been made, all for testing purposes, while mass production of the device will begin sometime between July and September, so that it will be ready for release in the fall.
