New evidence that the "cheap" iPhone is coming soon

If you want evidence that Apple intends to release a "cheap" iPhone by focusing more on markets like China, it doesn't take much effort and you only need to take a look at Apple's material suppliers who have started hiring a large number of workers and, as they admit, owe this move to Apple's "cheap" iPhone.

Pegatron is a key Apple partner in China, assembling thousands of iPhones and iPads each year and already employing 100,000 people. The company recently announced that it will increase its hiring in China by 40%, adding another 40,000 workers in the second half of this year.

The reason for such an increase is obvious and is confirmed today by Reuters , which, speaking with key Apple suppliers, reports that they will all increase their staff due to the "cheap" iPhone, with production of its screens starting this month, while mass production will begin sometime in June.

Suppliers have told Reuters that Apple is developing a cheaper model of the phone, broadening its sales base to lower-income buyers in growth markets such as China and India. A supplier source in Japan said small-scale production of the display panel for the model would begin in May, ramping up to mass production in June.

It should be noted that the "cheap" iPhone will probably range from $200-$500 and many analysts believe that it will cause a very big blow and drop in sales of Samsung's Galaxy S series, initially in America but also in other countries.
