Tired of watching the images of destruction from the bloody Boston Marathon on TV? Now you can experience them too! With that introduction, two undoubtedly sick minds are launching a new video game based on the recent terrorist attacks in America. The game is titled “Boston Marathon: Terror in the Streets” and is signed by two members of the infamous troll group “Lolokaust”.
This is the same team that released “Kindergarten Killer” years ago, drawing inspiration from the armed attacks on American schools and allowing players to “mow down” students and teachers. It also brought its signature to “Ethnic Cleansing,” a game starring a neo-Nazi who tried to kill all African-Americans and Latinos.
In this case, players put on their sneakers and start running in the marathon, unaware of the obstacles… explosives. Along the way, bombs that appear as pressure cookers explode if the athletes don’t jump over them and press their valve. If they don’t, their hero automatically ends up in a wheelchair with an amputated leg and the following message appears on the screen: “You screwed up! You might be luckier next year!”.
In case of success, an athlete appears on the screen making the victory sign with his hand, accompanied by the following message: "Congratulations! You managed to survive the Boston Marathon! Out of sheer persistence, you managed to stop these evil terrorists from spreading terror. Everyone is happy, the world is safe and you can have sex with Obama's wife!".
As expected, the game caused a lot of backlash. Within a few hours, the trailer was removed from YouTube's database, while hundreds of sites deleted any mention of it. However, the game remained available for several hours on the "Lolokaust" site.
