Do you want free tickets to Disneyland? You definitely won't get them from a Facebook post.
Once again, scammers are trying to trick users into visiting a website with the promise of free Disneyland tickets.
The scam post is as follows : “Celebrating the $5.6 billion profit of 2012, Disneyland decided to distribute free tickets to Facebook users!”
“Celebrating a whopping $5.6 Billion profit in 2012, Disneyland has decided to giveaway free tickets to facebook users!”
Users are invited to like and share the post, to add a comment stating how many tickets they want, and to visit the website disneyfreegifts.net.
According to Hoax Slayer, those who follow the above steps and visit the website are invited to take part in a survey in which they must provide personal information, and also install suspicious software.
If you are already a victim of this scam, make sure to remove all the posts you have published on your Facebook timeline and uninstall all the applications you have installed.
