Google has unveiled an amazing piece of work that is the result of a team of people who spent a lot of time at the Grand Canyon. The team's goal was to capture the beauty of the landscape as accurately as possible.
Google today published a significant amount of data via Street View, which can be enjoyed by those searching for the location of the Grand Canyon.
“Today, we released panoramic views of one of the world’s most stunning locations: the Grand Canyon,” Google said.
“The beautiful, interactive images cover more than 75 miles of roads, making maps of the region more complete, accurate and easier to use,” he added.
This was made possible with the Street View Trekker, a tool that contains everything our car carries that we use in our mapping but fits inside a backpack. A fairly large backpack, but with it they were able to take 360-degree panoramic photos in an area that no car can approach.
