The beta version of Facebook for Windows 10 Mobile was released some time ago , but in order to install it you had to change your region for it to appear in the store.
But now Facebook has officially released Windows 10 for all users, as it has finalized the work on the beta version and is available for download.
What is important to know is that Facebook for Windows 10 Mobile is an iOS port, so you will get the exact same features as on iPhones. And that is a very good thing considering the fact that Windows 10 Mobile and Windows Mobile users often lag behind developers who only bring them some of the features from Android and iOS to their devices.
Facebook, however, has not ported the client from iOS to Windows 10 Mobile using Project Islandwood, which has its own set of Microsoft tools created specifically for it, but has ported it with Osmeta, a platform that has exactly the same role and is being developed by the social network.
This is again good news, because any update that Facebook makes for iOS can be easily ported to Windows 10 Mobile, so that users of the platform will always have a fully updated client that will not have any malfunctions compared to other clients on other mobile operating systems.
