There are times when you don't want your News Feed to be filled with annoying posts. You've unfollowed pages and people who post useless content from time to time. Sometimes, you just don't want to see updates from a particular person at a particular time.
But there comes a time when one day you feel the need to receive updates from the pages and people you have unfollowed. A simple process would be to visit the Facebook profile for each such page and click on the Follow button. This would be a tedious process, though, if you have hundreds of such people. What if you have forgotten the names of the people you have unfollowed? This method will allow you to re- follow all those pages, groups and people en masse.
These steps are:
Re-following all unfollowed users from the desktop:
- Log in to your Facebook account.
- On the Home page, hover your mouse over Updates on the left side.
- Click the Settings shown on the left side of the News Feed.
- Click Edit Preferences.
- Click the Reconnect with People You Unfollowed. This will display all pages, groups, and people in thumbnail.
- Click on the image to Follow/Unfollow that person. You can filter posts by pages, groups or people by clicking Select All in the drop-down list.
- Click the Finish to save the changes you have made.
Follow all unfollowed users from mobile:
- In the Facebook App, tap on the Settings (three horizontal lines).
- Scroll down and tap Update Preferences.
- Tap Reconnect with people you unfollowed.
- Click on the image to Follow/Unfollow people, pages and groups.
