[su_heading size=”18″ margin=”40″]Hacker Marcel Lehel Lazar aka Guccifer admitted hacking into Hillary Clinton's private email server in 2013![/su_heading]
The Romanian hacker claimed that it was very easy to hack the email server and gave some details in recent interviews with Fox and NBC News.
Guccifer is currently in a Virginia prison, accused of hacking into the email accounts of senior political figures as well as Clinton's friend, Sidney Blumenthal. This relationship with Sidney Blumenthal allowed the hacker access to Clinton's server.

Guccifer first accessed Blumenthal's AOL email in March 2013 after doing extensive Internet research and guessing his security question. From Blumenthal's email, the hacker was able to track emails based on IP headers and eventually gained access to Clinton's email server.
The hacker described the server to NBC News as an open orchid on the Internet where he could find thousands of files. Although he said he only accessed the server twice, he claimed to have obtained 2-gigabytes of information. So far, he has refused to release any of the emails he accessed. Regarding the 2-gigabytes, he told NBC News that they are hidden because they are “very hot” and are matters of national security.
Lazar was extradited from Romania and faced nine federal charges of hacking. He has pleaded not guilty and is due to appear in his 12th trial in September, but is now willing to cooperate with government officials.
Hillary Clinton's campaign has stated that Lazar is a criminal and there is no basis for anyone to believe his claims, and also that the information he has provided regarding the server is inaccurate.
