A simple iPhone bug was discovered by Zach Straley. The video posted on YouTube shows that if you set your iPhone's date to January 1, 1970, it will get stuck!
The iOS device will fail to boot, and will get stuck showing the Apple logo.

For those who tried this for fun and found their iPhone stuck, they had to visit the nearest Apple store and drop off their iPhone for repair.
Another way to fix the problem is to wait for the battery to run out and then plug the device in to charge and reset it. You may see a blue screen for about 3 seconds after a few minutes. This blue screen appeared for some while for others it did not.
