Make sure you review the system requirements and other important information before installing Windows Technical Preview. If you're ready to get started, follow these steps to download a special ISO file that you can use to install Windows Technical Preview:
Click one of the Download on this page.
When the download is complete, transfer the ISO file to installation media, such as a DVD or USB flash drive.
Double-tap or double-click the setup.exe from the installation media, and then follow the steps.
Important
If you want to stop using Windows Technical Preview and go back to your previous version of Windows, you'll need to reinstall the previous version using the recovery or installation media that came with your computer, which is usually a DVD. If you don't have recovery media, you might be able to create a USB recovery drive.
After installing Windows Technical Preview, you won't be able to use the recovery partition on your computer to go back to the previous version of Windows.
