Another technique used by fraudsters to "skim" ATMs

A common technique adopted by a large number of ATM targeting banks and consumers appears to be various thin razors. These card-stealing devices are becoming increasingly easily adaptable and invisible in the card slot.

In the image above you see a new pattern detected in a cash machine in Southern Europe.

The bank that shared the image asked to remain anonymous, noting that the incident is still under investigation. But according to an executive at the financial institution, the tool was discovered in the ATMby a bank technician when the machine's alarm was "accidentally" disabled.
