Facebook is considering integrating an offline service so that users can save articles and news to have them even when they don't have access to the internet.
Instapaper and Pocket are two of the most popular content storage applications for offline use.
As is logical, Facebook, seeing the success they have with the public, is considering including them in the functions it offers, and so it is not ruled out that very soon we will see a special badge next to each post, which if the user clicks on will save the link and its content on the user's device for offline use..
With this move, if it becomes a reality, Facebook wants to make its users spend more time on its page, while at the same time promoting more news reading from there, turning Facebook, as Mark Zuckerberg said, "into the most personalized news page in the world.".
