Soon, Android developers will be able to make their applications compatible with Google Now, so that the American company's voice assistant can gain new content!
This is a big change to Google Now, which was revealed at SXSW 2015 in Texas yesterday, as an open API will soon be available for all developers who want to "integrate" their applications into those supported by the personal assistant of our Android device.
Google Now's Director of Product Management, Aparna Chennapragada, made the announcement, which gives Google Now the ability to search for information from more applications, beyond those allowed by Google itself.
If, however, you're wondering what Google Now will do when it has to... choose between the data of two similar apps, as to which one to display, the answer is that it will take into account the user's "individual app habits" to select its content.
One of "favorite" features will soon get even better, and we really like that!
