The Flickr app for iOS has been upgraded offering the auto‑upload capability for high‑resolution photos to your Flickr album collection. If you combine this feature with 1 TB of free storage you essentially have a Photo Stream service that can store over 1 million photos…
Flickr made 1TB of storage available back in May, and a similar move, as we informed you yesterday, was also made by Yahoo. If you sync your iPhone with Flickr now, you will have all the features of Photo Stream but with 500 times more storage space.
Be careful, however, since you need to synchronize both sides so that when you delete photos from Flickr they are automatically removed from iPhoto.
The upgrade of the application also provides the auto-straightening feature while solving the problems some users had during their log in with Google accounts.
The Flickr app is available for free on the App Store here. It is also compatible with iOS 6, but you will need to have iOS 7 installed to use its auto-uploads feature.
