Between iOS 9 and the brand new iPad Pro, Apple's tablets have had significant updates this year.
If Santa brought you an iPad this year, take a look at these awesome apps released in 2015.
Adobe Slate
If you've ever wanted to turn your vacation photos into a website, Adobe Slate is the simplest and most elegant solution we've seen. The storytelling app helps you turn your photos into web-based stories that combine your photos and text with the app's layouts to create beautiful micro-sites.
Airbnb
The famous site has also released an application exclusively for iPad that offers the same functionality as that of smartphones but with a design that emphasizes the service's many photos.
Duet Display
Enlight
One of the best photo editors we've seen this year. Enlight does everything from simple editing to advanced special effects, beautiful filters, and artistic illustrations. The app's non-destructive editing lets you revert to a previous version at any time, and even better, you can work with high-resolution images without losing quality.
Forge
Part sketchbook and part storyboard, Forge is made up of walls of individual sketches, photos, and notes focused on a specific project. Designed for quick and creative thinking!
HBO Now
A dream come true. HBO has finally made it possible to watch our favorite shows without a subscription. The app has all episodes of Silicon Valley, Game of Thrones, The Wire, and all the rest of the channel's series.
Khan Academy
Khan Academy has released its app, which promises to help you improve your knowledge on any subject. The tablet has some useful new features, such as a scratchpad that lets you take notes while watching a video.
LiquidText
If you read a lot of PDFs on your iPad, then LiquidText is the app for you. The app lets you edit and manipulate documents just like you would a physical book. You can highlight what you want and take out sections as separate notes with a link that takes you back to where they were originally. You can also view two pages side by side even if they are not next to the original text.
Tweetbot 4
If you're a Twitter , Tweetbot will elevate your experience. The app lets you choose not to see news from users you don't want or topics you don't want, and it lets you sync your timeline across all your devices. The iPad version has a custom column for multitasking and night mode for nighttime reading.
uMake
One of the first apps dedicated exclusively to iPads, uMake allows you to sketch in 3D, showcasing the professional level of Apple.
