United Kingdom: Bans WhatsApp, Snapchat and iMessage (?)

United Kingdom: Bans WhatsApp, Snapchat and iMessage (?) – The WhatsApp and Snapchat applications already have problems in many countries, because they are considered key tools for communication between terrorists.

United Kingdom: Bans WhatsApp, Snapchat and iMessage (?)

Thus, the United Kingdom decided to move forward with a controversial new legislation targeting apps such as Whats App.

According to Express.co.uk, WhatsApp, iMessage, and other popular messaging services may be banned in the United Kingdom because they encrypt their users' messages !

In the coming weeks, UK Prime Minister David Cameron will put the surveillance bill to Parliament and if it passes, then the three messaging services mentioned earlier will be banned in the UK.

«Do we want to allow a means of communication in our country that we cannot read?», said David Cameron earlier this year.

«My answer to this question is: No, we don’t want to.» (He asks himself alone and answers Mr. David Cameron)

If the Whats App, Snapchat and iMessage apps are banned in the United Kingdom, it will certainly be a very bad example for the other European countries, which could be tempted to try to do the same.

There will likely be a backlash from app users when the new legislation is announced, but then it probably won't matter to politicians.
