SHOCK! He committed suicide because his mother cut off his Internet!
The suicide of 18-year-old Paul Bickle, who decided to end his life by jumping from a bridge in February 2013, caused shock.
Paul was in his room playing an online game. He started shouting and cursing at his opponent to the point that his mother became concerned and went to see what was happening. When she realized that her son was furious because of the game, she asked him to be quiet but he wouldn't listen to anything and so she had to turn off his internet connection so that he would calm down. Then, when she realized what had happened, the young man ran out of his house and jumped off the bridge.
Two years later, Paul's mother, Donna, has opened up about the real reasons that led her son to commit suicide. She told the Birmingham Mail that the day her son left was a day she would never forget. Her son had been battling his demons since he was a teenager. Depression had taken over his life and prevented him from living a normal life like other children his age.
Paul initially struggled with depression but then became withdrawn, spending his time only on games and the internet.
Donna emphasizes that although she began to understand her son's different behavior, at the age of 16 they visited a specialist to help him, but he did not give him the necessary attention and the situation worsened over the years, culminating in his death.
So, his mother decided to make her child's tragic story public in the hope of helping parents experiencing similar situations.
