The men of the Cybercrime Prosecution Directorate have arrived on the trail of three individuals who allegedly made offensive posts about Vangelis Giakoumakis on the internet
In Athens, Mytilene and Thessaloniki, the administrators of the blog that insulted V. Giakoumakis are two students, F.S. and E.T., 25 and 28 years old respectively, as well as 50-year-old N.A., who, in the past, had been accused of attempted rape, fatal bodily harm and drugs.
As emerged from the police investigation, the 25-year-old was operating from Athens, specifically from the Petralona area, the 50-year-old from Thessaloniki and the 28-year-old from Mytilene.
The countdown to their arrest began on March 15, when, as zougla.gr had written, a few hours after the young student's body was found, extremely offensive and obscene comments about him appeared on the internet.
The blogs and the pseudonym
According to Prosecution officers, the presence of one of them, F.S., was particularly frequent on the internet as, using the pseudonym "Vladimiros Vidopoulos", he had also made abusive posts in the past on the blog "tro-mpa-ktiko".

Additionally, according to the authorities, he allegedly used the pseudonym "Randal Skefingtonidis" or "Randal Vidopoulos." He then allegedly created his own blog, which was called fresko.
The Twitter post of one of the alleged administrators of the website fresko.blogspot, after the insulting comments and the intervention of the Cybercrime Prosecution, wrote in a Twitter post that they were entering his house with a prosecutor.

However, the "online activity" of 50-year-old N.A. is also rich, as the report shows, after a romantic disappointment with a well-known journalist, he created a fake profile on Twitter and other social media in order to slander her..

A regular procedure file was filed against the three individuals for the offenses of public incitement of violence and hatred via the internet, jointly and continuously, and public provocation and incitement to commit misdemeanors and felonies committed out of hatred, via the internet, while the 50-year-old is also accused of disobedience.
A laptop computer and three internal hard drives were seized. From the on-site digital investigations by specialized officers of the Cybercrime Investigation Unit, the involvement and malicious actions of the three perpetrators were digitally identified, while a laptop computer and three internal hard drives were seized.
The seized digital evidence will be sent to the Criminal Investigations Directorate for laboratory tests.
The two men, aged 25 and 28, were not arrested because the conditions for the free-for-all procedure were not met. It is noted that the 50-year-old is being sought for arrest within the limits of the free-for-all procedure for the offense of disobedience.
At the same time, their involvement in any other criminal acts is being investigated, as well as their possible communication with individuals in the Ioannina area.
