The FBI announced on Monday (12/1) that it is investigating another cyberattack, this time against the Twitter and YouTube of the United States Central Command (Centcom), which oversees military activities in the Middle East.
The FBI in its statement clarifies that it is working with the Department of Defense "to determine the nature and extent of this incident.".
The attack on the electronic social networking systems of the United States Central Command was carried out by perpetrators who claim to be friendly to the Islamic State jihadists who are the target of airstrikes by the international coalition.
