Leonardo DiCaprio and Christian Bale (best known for his role as Batman) have turned their backs on the production of the new film about the life of Steve Jobs, 37-year-old German-Irish Michael Fassbender is now the favorite to play the Apple co-founder, and it seems that everything is finding its way again.
Beau Bonneau Casting has published a call for extras, who will, among other things, form the audience in the film revival of some of Steve Jobs ' Apple product presentations
"The production's greatest need is for men ages 18 to 40, with flexible hours and adaptable hair lengths. Men should be willing to grow their hair, beards, and sideburns to match the 80s and 90s era," the casting call states.
"Women should have natural hair color and not an extremely modern style. Overall for men and women, curls, wavy hair, and volume are a plus. Production will provide haircuts as needed," it is clarified.
The film's script, based on the biography of Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson, is written by Aaron Sorkin and directed by Oscar winner (Slumdog Millionaire) Danny Boyle.
British-born Katherine Waterston will play Jobs' girlfriend, Chrishan Brennan - with whom he had his daughter Lisa - and Canadian Seth Rogen (who also stars in the critically acclaimed "The Interview") will play Steve Wozniak.
According to reports, the film's script revolves around three Apple product presentations, at different times in Steve Jobs' career, with an emphasis on what happened behind the scenes.
Filming is expected to begin at the end of January in San Francisco.
