Xbox Live attacked by Lizard team

Xbox

The Xbox Livewas unavailable for the second time in a few days due to a new DDoS attack by the hacker group, Lizard.

Just a week ago, the Lizard group hit the service with a DDoS attack that caused it to go offline. Live's servers went down and were inaccessible for 2 days, severely impacting users. Yesterday, the Lizard group hit the Live service again with a DDoS attack and announced that it would launch a similar attack on PSN.

The attack, which occurred on December 5, left console users without access to Live. The service confirmed the network outage and gamers were experiencing connection issues. Microsoft immediately informed users that all of the company's technicians were working around the clock to fix the problem as soon as possible in order to restore Xbox Live.

The situation is starting to become a problem for Microsoft, as Live users will be able to access the services again in a few days. At the same time Lizard hackers have announced that they will continue their attacks on the Xbox network.
