Intel acquired the startup PasswordBox on Monday . The service allows users to log into personal accounts without having to remember passwords and will be integrated into the company's "secure account management" solutions.
Password-Box is based in Montreal, Canada and has developed a "smart" platform that allows its users to log in to different online accounts (social networks, emails, etc.), without having to memorize passwords .
As Intel announced, the security service will be integrated into the "secure account management" solutions that the company already provides.
According to the technology portal ZDnet, the terms of the agreement as well as the acquisition were not disclosed.
Password-Box was founded in 2012 in Montreal and consists of a total staff of forty-eight people.
