A map created by researchers at the Oxford Internet Institute using Alexa - an internet application that measures the traffic and popularity of a site on the internet at a global and local level - shows the most popular sites by country.
Google (in red) dominates mainly in North and South America, Europe, South Asia, and while Facebook (in blue) wins in Spanish-speaking countries, the Middle East, and North Africa.
Green is Baidu, purple is Yahoo, pink is Alwatan Voice, yellow is Mail.ru, brown is VK, orange is Yandex, while there is no information in the countries in gray.
