A sophisticated group of hackers believed to be linked to the Chinese government and for years have targeted US experts based in Asia, suddenly began hacking into the computers of experts in Iraq.
CrowdStrike Inc said the group is one of the most sophisticated among 30 identified in China and that its activities are better than those of many secret military units and other government agencies.
CrowdStrike co-founder Dmitri Alperovitch said he believes the hackers are connected to the government, although he declined to provide many details on the matter.
