Strength Meter is a lightweight jQuery plugin that helps users choose better, safer, and more complex passwordsby providing a visual indication of the strength of their passwords.
This widget can be added to any registration form and used to signal the difficulty level of a password. This level is indicated by colored text messages that encourage users to choose better passwords for their accounts.
Depending on the type and number of characters used, the password strength indicator is reduced to "Too short, Very Weak, Weak, Good, Strong" or "Very Strong".
Developers have full control over the complexity levels of the codes and can, with appropriate changes to the code, adjust these levels based on the desired security standards.
