Founded in 2007, LiveRail is known for its platform that helps video creators and marketers find and place relevant ads within videos. The company has 4 offices with 170 employees, hundreds of clients, and serves over 7 billion video ads per month .
The acquisition is expected to cost Facebook $500 million.
