Finally allow the creation of an App to identify pedophiles!

SecNews has often reported on the successes of the authorities in identifying pedophiles and their dirty networks. In addition, since the launch of our website, we have been officially requesting from the competent prosecutorial authorities to allow the publication of names and photographs for the information and protection of society as a whole. Some open-minded prosecutorial officers, listening to the voices of society and innocent children who fell victim to sick pedophiles, have proceeded for a few years to lift the secrecy of the heinous crime of pedophilia/child pornography. However, it seems that these are not enough to combat the phenomenon.

SecNews, following the DISGUSTING decision NOT to PROTECT (!!!) the pediatrician who was found with hard material (see the beast here) of child pornography, proposes, following the standards of technologically developed countries, that an application be created for Android and iPhone mobile phones so that all parents can be aware of and take measures against persons who may endanger their family.

In the US, the corresponding application is called Predator and you can see more [here].

SecNews believes that such an application for Greek data is ABSOLUTELY necessary and should include at least the following features:

  • list of all those arrested for child pornography who have been convicted
  • photographs of them at the time of arrest so that their faces are known to the general public
  • Instant update of the application with every new arrest made in real time (equivalent to Amber Alert)
  • locating a residence through geolocation services so that each parent knows if there is a pedophile nearby

Society and the many parents who contact our website by phone daily on the contact line +302111984444, demand the creation of such an application so that they can easily and quickly know exactly what is happening, if their children are in danger in the playground they play near their home, etc. It is worth noting that the corresponding applications abroad are experiencing particular growth and are a daily useful tool. Their usefulness is such that, for example, a family before moving into a house checks through the application if there are convicted pedophiles nearby. Or in addition, the parent checks the child's daily route to school if the house of a pedophile is on their route.

Some will exclaim, “but it’s personal data.” When the pedophile carries out his sick acts, does he think about the personal data of your child or the family he is stigmatizing with his actions? We do not think that he has such “sensitivities” in any way.

Let's leave aside the excuses about "personal data protection" (ed. note: ultimately behind this protection lie the greatest crimes) and let's focus on the protection of society as a whole, which is the goal of a well-organized state.

If we all do NOT contribute from our own position to limiting the phenomenon, then we are responsible - we are complicit in whatever happens tomorrow to any child (maybe even our own)

We hope that a prosecutor or the competent law enforcement authorities will take note of the above and allow the IMMEDIATE creation of a database of pedophile information that every parent can access at any time.

Only through information can families protect their children, something to which state agencies have a duty and must immediately help and support with the information at their disposal.

The SecNews technical team and our supporters make the technical knowledge and information infrastructure required available to any organization wishing to create such an application, NON-PROFIT.We also call on services such as the Prosecution of Electronic Crime , which has data on pedophiles, as well as organizations such as The Smile of the Child, Unicef, the National Center for Social Solidarity, The Ombudsman for the Child , SOS Children's Villages , etc. to support and disseminate our proposal to the competent prosecutorial authorities.
