In the Chios Security's nets, a 30-year-old man was found on Thursday afternoon, accused of extortion for money.
The man threatened his 22-year-old lover that he would upload pink videos of their sexual encounters if he didn't give him 1000 euros.
The 22-year-old victim reported the incident to Security from the first moment, and thus the operation to arrest the 30-year-old with marked banknotes was set up.
The two involved set a meeting for Thursday noon at Bourge, and there, after the delivery of the counterfeit banknotes, the security police took action, arrested the 30‑year‑old and escorted him to the Chios Prosecutor's Office as part of an on‑the‑spot procedure.
Police investigations are now focusing on the involvement of the 30‑year‑old in related incidents that have not been officially reported.
