If your site is running on Joomla 3.2.2, you will need to upgrade your content management system (CMS) to the latest version.
A newer version of Joomla v3.2.3 has been released, which updates more than 40 bugs and security vulnerabilities.
One of the updates, which has been rated critical, addresses a security flaw that allows SQL Injection attacks. The flaw affects versions 3.1.0 and 3.2.2.
Two other bugs are Cross-Site-Scripting vulnerabilities, which have been rated medium severity.
The latter allows unauthorized login with Gmail authentication, which is caused by insufficient checking. The vulnerability affects versions 2.5.8 and older 2.5.x and 3.x.
No matter how much you care about the 40 bug fixes, you should always check for security updates. So, you should always keep your content management system up to date to avoid hacking attacks.
