A new update to iTunes for Mac and Windows computers is now available for download. According to Apple, iTunes 11.1.5 brings significant improvements and bug fixes.
"This update fixes an issue that could cause iTunes to quit unexpectedly when a device is connected, and also improves compatibility with iBooks for Mac on OS X Mavericks."
Although the update concerns the latest version of Apple's operating system, it can be applied to all computers with Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later.
For Windows computers, Windows XP Service Pack 2 is the minimum required specification.
The supported languages for this version of iTunes are German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Portuguese (Brazilian), Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Danish, Norwegian, Russian, Finnish, and Swedish.
