Turkish hacking group RedHack claims to have breached the systems of Turkish ISP TTNet (www.ttnet.com.tr), Vodafone and the largest mobile phone company in Turkey, TurckCell (turkcell.com.tr).
The hackers announced: "Customer data has been collected from the systems of ISP TTNET, mobile phone provider Vodafone and Turkcell."
Hackers claimed to have gained access to millions of files contained on the servers.
They also stated: "If we are able to access this information in their systems with our limited resources, imagine what a foreign intelligence agency can do. These companies have 90% of customer data in their systems and they cannot protect it."
The hackers have shared some of the TTNet data (https://justpaste.it/eaml), which only contains the details of members of the Ministries, the National Intelligence Service (MIT) and the Security Directorate. The hackers are not publishing the data belonging to the general public, "it is a matter of principle".
The data contains information such as names, phone numbers, addresses, email addresses, and other information.
The reason for these breaches is to demonstrate the fact that no one and no system is 100% secure.
