Firefox 27 Released – 13 Security Vulnerabilities Fixed

Mozilla new security features and improved performance. The updated browser also brings support for the SPDY 3.1 protocol.

The new version of the browserfixes 13 security vulnerabilities, four of which were rated critical. These vulnerabilities, when exploited, could allow unauthorized attackers to execute arbitrary code without requiring any user interaction.

The upgraded version also includes a fix for a "use-after-free memory error" that allows an attacker to exploit available memory space to execute arbitrary code.
