As it became known, Foxconn prepared the first tablets running Firefox OS and sent them to Mozilla. These devices will be used for the development of the operating system.
Foxconn delivered the tablets as part of the partner program and Mozilla did not release any other information, except that they have a 10-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
It is unknown when Firefox OS tablets will be available on the market , as Mozilla's related optimization program for the operating system for popular devices has just begun
If the program goes well, there is a possibility that we will see the first commercial devices on the market in the third quarter of the year, most likely during the holiday season, but earlier is unlikely.
