Sony has announced three new games that will be available to PlayStation Plus during July, continuing its established monthly renewal of its service. Active subscribers in the Essential, Extra and Premium will be able to add three new titles to their library, which cover different game genres and appeal to a wide range of players.

The biggest surprise of the month is undoubtedly the addition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, one of the most important action games of recent years. Along with it come the cooperative RPG For the King II and the much-loved indie action RPG CrossCode, creating a fairly balanced package for those looking for different experiences.
All titles will become available on July 7th and can be added to subscribers' libraries until August 3rd.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III steals the show
The most important addition of the month is undoubtedly Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, which will be available for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
The presence of such a major title on PlayStation Plus is one of the strongest additions in recent months and is expected to attract a lot of interest. The game offers a cinematic single-player campaign, fast-paced multiplayer with updated maps and a multitude of online modes, while of course there is also the popular Zombies mode, which continues to be a favorite choice for millions of players.

The addition of Modern Warfare III significantly enhances the value of the subscription, especially for those who had not yet acquired the title.
RPG and retro aesthetics complete the package
The second game of the month is For the King II, an RPG that combines roguelike elements, turn-based combat, and tabletop-inspired mechanics. The title places a strong emphasis on cooperation between players, allowing for both solo and multiplayer experiences, with each new adventure being different thanks to procedural map generation.
For those who prefer more classic RPG experiences, CrossCode is an excellent choice. It is a 2D action RPG that draws inspiration from the games of the 90s, combining pixel art graphics, fast-paced action, puzzles and exploration. The title has received particularly positive reviews from audiences and journalists, as it is considered one of the best independent productions of recent years.

The three new titles that subscribers will be able to acquire are:
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III – Cross-Gen Bundle (PS4 / PS5)

- CrossCode (PS4 / PS5)
As is the case every month, users simply need to add the games to their library within the available time frame. Once added, the titles will remain available as long as their PlayStation Plus subscription remains active.
PlayStation Plus continues to grow

In recent weeks, several more titles have been added, including Black Desert, Blades of Fire , and Farming Simulator 25, significantly expanding the available library of games. This strategy shows that Sony is increasingly investing in its subscription service, seeking to offer greater value to users and compete more effectively with corresponding platforms like Xbox Game Pass.
One of the best months of 2026
The July lineup is considered by many to be one of the strongest announced this year. The presence of a blockbuster like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, combined with two high-quality RPGs that appeal to different audiences, creates a package with great variety.
Whether you prefer competitive online multiplayer, a more strategic experience, or a classic action RPG with a strong retro aesthetic, this month’s selections cover almost every taste. With constant additions to both the monthly games and the Game Catalog, PlayStation Plus continues to be one of the most important reasons for users to stay active in the PlayStation ecosystem.
