Nine things kids will never care about again

Today's children live and grow up in an incredible technological boom, much greater than those of previous decades, resulting in issues that would have been central to older generations, but will probably not concern modern children.

Older topics such as spelling, communicating through letters, making appointments with friends, or even the next episode of a favorite series were of central importance and required specific effort and planning to achieve.

Nowadays, however, such issues have been resolved almost at the touch of a button.

Let's look at nine basic things that modern children will never care about again, as listed by endiaferonta:

Write out whole words when texting or taking notes. Want to say “I LOVE U”? You write LY. You better learn the most popular abbreviations, because soon they’ll be talking like that too.

They don't need to be very good at spelling, since before they even finish the word, automatic spelling will display it, or the automatic spelling and grammar program will correct it.

They don't need to have pen pals. Remember? Letters to friends and the correspondence you anxiously awaited were replaced by e-mail buddies and posts on other people's walls, not your own.

It is not necessary for them to read a book, a research paper, an analysis for school at home. They can now find its summary on the internet. This should worry you as an element of laziness that can get away with it, but it should worry teachers even more.

They won't need to carry a camera again. Neither for video, nor for photography. There are mobile phones. All in one.

They don't have time to meet and talk in person. No worries. There's Facebook, Twitter. Social media gets you out of the difficult position of wasting time traveling to meet in person.

They don't have to wait long to see their friends or pets, since they can meet online at any time. Travel was and will be enjoyable, but the nostalgia has diminished.

They won't pay for the music. Don't worry, no one will call them thieves and the musicians will still make money.

Missing your favorite TV series is as outdated as regular television.
