In an interview with Nikias Molina at Grand Central Terminal last week, Apple CEO Tim Cookmade a brief reference to the future of the iPhone.

“There’s so much we can still do with iPhone,” Cook said. “I believe it will continue to be the center of people’s digital lives.”
Although this statement can be considered typical corporate rhetoric, it is interesting that Cook believes the iPhone will remain the primary device in people's lives, given that Apple is expanding into new areas such as spatial computing. It is reported that Apple is also working on projects such as augmented reality glasses and a screenless AI pendant.

Next year, the iPhone turns 20 , and its popularity continues to reach new heights. iPhone revenue in the latest quarter reached $85.2 billion, setting a new all-time high. Cook said demand for the iPhone during the quarter was “simply mind-blowing.”
“iPhone had its best quarter ever, driven by unprecedented demand, with records across every geography,” Cook said in January.

It remains to be seen whether there will ever be a device that will replace the iPhone and smartphones in general, but Cook is certainly not worried right now. “The iPhone will be here for a long time,” he said.
