On the weekend of October 26 and 27, 2013, Piraeus Bank successfully completed the project of integrating the systems of the former BANK OF CYPRUS branch network into the unified environment of the Group's IT systems.
As of Tuesday, October 29, all customers of the former BANK OF CYPRUS and Piraeus Bank networks are served by common IT systems and with the same procedures, through the consolidated network of 860 branches, 2,200 ATMs and 385 Easypay.
As of the same day, all customers use the integrated Winbank electronic banking platform for their electronic transactions, as well as the other electronic service channels of Piraeus Bank.
The integration of the systems of the former BANK OF CYPRUS network is the third step - after the integration of the IT systems of the former ATEbank and the former Hellenic Bank- in the process of integrating the IT systems of the remaining banks recently acquired by Piraeus Bank, with the next step being the integration of the systems of the former branch network of the Cyprus Popular Bank (CPB).
