Want to buy a gun without a license? Try Instagram. There's a seemingly thriving market for amateur gun sellers on the photo-sharing app.
On Tuesday, the Daily Beast found that a number of Instagrammers are offering guns for sale on the website. And the irony is, they're not breaking the law in doing so.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, someone can sell guns without a license to someone else if he or she is in the same state. Selling guns does not violate Instagram's terms of service, of course.
Of course, Instagram isn't the only website where people buy or sell guns. Plenty of people advertise firearms on Facebook or Twitter, and neither of those sites prohibit it.
