Registrations for the CCNA certification program at City Unity begin

Registration opens at City Unity KDBM2 for CCNA – Routing & Switching, which teaches technology-based networks, covering protocols and theory at deeper levels reflective of university practices.

Students learn basic concepts of routing, switching, and high-level technologies. The instructors are Cisco Academy certified , with experience in both education and the professional industry.

Based on the Cisco Academic Program , the CCNA includes 4 thematic modules :

• Introduction to the basic principles of networks, their applications and services. Also an introduction to advanced data technologies such as voice, video, wireless access and security.
• Introduction to routing protocols and modern routing devices and networking of multiple local area networks.
• Modern local area networks, VLANS creation, wireless networks. Local area network hierarchy techniques. Network connectivity and security.
• Remote network access technologies. Security and protection techniques. Their practical application in modern homes and companies.

The program starts on 29/10, every Tuesday and Thursday, 6-10pm and is completed in 280 hours. Places are limited.
