The Syrian Electronic Army group has hacked the GlobalPost news service again. This time, the hackers claim to have deleted the website.
The hackers wrote on Twitter: “We hope you enjoy the moment as you watch your website get deleted.”
GlobalPost said on Facebook: “GlobalPost appears to have been compromised by the Syrian Electronic Army. We are working hard to restore our website as soon as possible.”
While the website was down, GlobalPost shared news via Facebook and Tumblr.
The website appears to be working now, but it is unknown whether the vulnerabilities exploited by hackers to breach it have been fixed.
