In iOS 18.2 and later, there’s a Share Item Location in the app Find My. This feature allows you to temporarily share the location of an -tagged item AirTag with others (including participating airline employees). This way, if you place an AirTag inside your luggage, the airline can better help you find it if it gets lost or delayed at the airport.
