ENIAC , an innovative startup, has introduced the Flexbar , a new gadget reminiscent of Apple's Touch Bar , through a Kickstarter campaign.
Flexbar comes to correct the shortcomings of the original Touch Bar, offering increased flexibility and personalization.
It is a 10-inch AMOLED touchscreen , with a resolution of 2170 x 60 pixels, which works as a standalone device and is compatible with Mac , Windows computers , and also, to a limited extent, with Android and iPadOS .

The device comes with an elegant aluminum base, allowing for easy placement, and also features haptic feedback for a better touch experience.
The Flexbar offers shortcuts and custom controls for popular apps, while users can create their own settings via the FlexBarDesigner app. While the basic functionality of the device is already ready, ENIAC continues to improve the software, while seeking the cooperation of third-party developers to create additional plugins. These plugins will be available through a special market, which is scheduled to launch in the second quarter of 2025.
The device is available at a retail price of $179, but campaign supporters have the opportunity to acquire it at a preferential price of $119, with first deliveries expected in February 2025.

However, like any crowdfunding project, this one also carries risks, such as delays or deviation from initial expectations. In addition, the plugin and the marketplace will not be immediately available. Those interested in investing should carefully assess the risks.
