Sony has begun celebrating the 30th anniversary of the PlayStation and during the event it appears to have confirmed a leak about the PS5 Pro.
In a blog post, an image for the anniversary was included, and observant readers spotted a suspicious PS5 design in the montage, which appears to be identical to the PS5 Pro leak that occurred a week ago.

Dealabs reported last week that it had seen retail packaging for the PS5 Pro and created a sketch that showed three black stripes down the middle of the console's outer bezels. These three black stripes are clearly visible in Sony's montage image, which looks rather Adidas and unlike the stripe you'll find on the PS5. In fact, the existing PS5 model is also in the montage, with just a single stripe down the middle.
Dealabs reported that it was expecting an announcement in the first half of September, but no one expected it to come in the form of a teaser image from Sony. The official PlayStation Instagram account even posted the image accompanied by the link “Your first look 👀”.

We've known for months that the PS5 Pro is real and that developers are preparing games for the new console. According to a source familiar with Sony's plans, all games released on or after September 16th will have to support the PS5 Pro. This suggests that Sony's official announcement for this console is close.
