Samsung has announced the launch of AirPlay for TVs in hotel rooms.
This feature will allow iPhone and iPad users to wirelessly stream videos, music, photos, and other content from their device to their living room TV.

The feature allows you to scan a unique QR code on your hotel room TV to create an AirPlay connection, allowing you to wirelessly stream content from iPhone or iPad. Once paired, your device will also automatically connect to the Wi-Fi . Make sure your device is updated to iOS 17.3 or iPadOS 17.3 or later.
AirPlay on hotel room TVs works with apps and services like Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade for gaming, Apple Fitness+ for workouts, and more.
Samsung stated that no personal information is stored in this AirPlay feature and the paired device is automatically removed upon check-out from the hotel.
Samsung did not reveal which hotel chains will be equipped with its AirPlay-enabled TVs. The feature was launched earlier this year on LG hotel room TVs at select IHG Hotels & Resorts properties in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, with more locations expected in the future.

Google has long offered a similar Chromecast streaming feature on many hotel TVs, which works with both iPhones and Android devices .
